The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a reported auto fire in the area of West Jarrettsville Road and Anderson Lane at 17:16. Deputy Chief 7 was first to arrive and reported a fully involved auto fire at the location. Engine 714 arrived soon after and advanced a 13/4-inch hand line and began to extinguish the fire. Engine 714's crew secured the scene of all hazards and cleared shortly thereafter. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
