The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with rescue in the area of Madonna Road and Norrisville Road at 11:26. Chief 7-1 arrived first on scene in the 4100 block of Norrisville Road, advised Dispatch of a two-vehicle MVC with one vehicle on its side, and confirmed one patient was trapped. Rescue 751 and I.V. 792 arrived soon after and began stabilization of the overturned vehicle. Once stabilized, Rescue 751's crew extricated the patient through the rear window of the vehicle. A second medic unit was soon requested to the scene for a second patient. I.V. 792 was upgraded by Chief 7-9 to a Paramedic unit and transported one patient to Sinai Trauma. The second patient was transported by I.V. 791 to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center for further evaluation.
