Cpl. Patrick Murphy and his company of Marines from the 2/8 Fox Company have returned safely to the shores of the United States. They arrived at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on February 20, 2007. They have been patrolling in Western Iraq since July of 2006. Cpl. Patrick will return to the Jarrettsville area on March 5 and remain for several weeks. We are looking forward to seeing our brother and friend again. We wish to show our gratitude and thanks for his unselfishness in serving our country and risking his life to preserve dignity and freedom for others. We are looking forward to hearing of your adventures. Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company wishes to thank Cpl. Patrick Murphy and all those who have and those who continue to serve our country. We thank God for answering our prayers and bringing them safely home.
