At approximately 15:30 the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a rescue at the Rocks State Park "King and Queen Seat." The subject had fallen approximately 40 feet off the rocks onto unsteady ground. Crews secured a safe scene and stabilized the patient using a stokes basket with assistance from the Harford County Technical Rescue Team (TRT). The patient was then lowered using the stokes basket and a rope system to more stable ground. Crews used a gator from Whiteford VFC to move the patient to the base of the trail to an awaiting Medic unit. The patient was flown via Trooper 1 to a trauma center for further evaluation.
