The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a motor vehicle accident in the area of Norrisville Road (Route 23) and Houcks Road at approximately 01:00 hours. Rescue 751, Utility 772 and Ambulance 791 all called enroute and soon arrived to find a single vehicle on its side into a telephone pole. One patient had self-extricated upon arrival and was evaluated at the scene. Units remained on scene for a short time before being placed back into service.
