The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to respond two engines to the scene of a reported dwelling fire in the 500 Block of Saint Mary's Road. First arriving units arrived and reported a single story dwelling with smoke and fire showing from the rear. Engine 714 & 712 assisted with fire ground operations and remained on scene for an extended period of time before being placed back into service.
