The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company with the assistance of surrounding companies worked this silo fire that was filled with Soy Beans. Engine 714 and Truck 331 used an 1 3/4" handline to extinguish the fire. No surrounding hazards were noted throughout the incident. Savable Soy Beans were removed and transported by local farmers to another location.
