The Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a reported auto fire in the 3300 block of Kreitler Road. Engine 713 arrived and reported a single vehicle, working fire from the engine compartment. Engine 713 used a single 1 3/4" hand line to quickly extinguish the fire. Crews secured the scene of all hazards before returning to service shortly after.
